Gentlemen,

The 101st ABN (159 CAB) Pathfinder Company suffered its first KIA since Vietnam on 2 OCT. SPC Russell Hercules was mortally wounded while conducting an operation in Wardak Province.

The PFDR Company's lineage traces back from 101 LRSD to L CO 75th INF to the 101st LRRP CO.

Please take a moment of silence in respect for this fallen warrior. Rest in peace young man; you will not be forgotten.
