508th PIR website

You're going to be a Red Devil. In the All-American Division!

Make sure that when you report, your beret is squared away w/ the correct unit flash and insignia, and don't be looking like a rag-bag.

Airborne! All The Way!!! And get ready for some real airborne opperations, none of that easy s.h.it like in jump school.

I have a cousin in 2/508 PIR....

if ya have any questions bout post feel free to email

docnhousehold6@aol.com

I am here at Bragg. Luckily you will be getting here when everyone is getting home, but always be ready this is the 82nd.

Be prepared for them to be somewhat off.. they have had a rough year, and actually had some happenings just recently with 1/508. A lot of them are going to be tired and worn when they get home.

best of luck

Trina

Pretty much, you'll probably end up chill'n w/ rear detachment pull'n details until they return.

They'll probably start hit'n PT hard, and making some jumps to get current after everything gets back to normal.

Be motivated & flexible. You'll get fu.cked with, and work alot of details. Sometimes you'll feel like a grunt, sometimes you'll feel like a Paratrooper, sometimes you'll feel like a slave, sometimes you'll feel like you're under a microscope, sometimes you'll feel like you're being ignored.

Be motivated & flexible. You'll get fu.cked with, and probably work alot of details.

Then some time will pass, and it will get better.

Firebreak 6 & Ardennes road, enjoy...

Are you a buck cherry PVT, dude?

first off... congratulations on becoming one of the elite. you have done what very few americans can claim. be proud

find out what the unit flash looks like, then go to the PX and buy it, then have it sewn on...

do NOT show up with the 507th flash.. nothing says "i'm a 5 jump chup" like the airborne school beret.

Way to go. If you're 11B and are assigned to the 508th, then you truely have become one of the best. I was in the '08 back in the '90s in Panama and Italy. Good Luck and best wishes.
