Ok, you all know before I joined our beloved Corps I was a dumbazz and went army for my first enlistment.

Now here's what I don't get. Even me a former army guy (ssshhh don't tell my kids its embarrassing) like me goes and asks questions no jibes no nothin and right away some smart *** comes out of the woodwork and starts talkin sssshhhhiiittt.

I know the army is last on the recruiting ladder and only because they threw about 50 million frickin bravos with cg waivers down range some were bound to stick. Go figure.

Check it out I was askin about my nephews, hhmm wonder why they're both Army, I was Army then get smack talked gotta love that professional mentality over there.

I only say hhhhmmm why are they army cause theyre both good, smart kids top 20 of their classes in high school respectively, both athletic and they go frickin army with those boners. christ do me a fav, dean, hill somebody send me a smack will ya.

Big Es right. Why sweat it Brother? The Army's cool and the best at what they do. I'm sure both your Nephews are good troops who are giving a good account of themselves. Remember, the Army's lost a lot of good Brothers and Sisters over there too so we've got to give them credit where credit is due because they've earned it the hard way too.

Nelson, you're dealing with personalities, not the whole service. We've had good Dawgie Grunt Bros posting really good stuff here so you may want to just consider the source. Let it go Bro., it just ain't worth the hassle. As long as your Nephews get home safe it's all good.

Nelson, the guy that gave you grief posted again that he was a former Marine and was joking with you, better check that thread again. Not sure if that is accurate but thats where it seems to stand now.

Also, Trina is a Army Spouse. Her husband is a soldier with the 82nd Airborne and did multiple tours in Iraq, has suffered a stroke and is still serving with the 82nd Airborne overseas. They have been seperated for long periods of time while he continues to serve and support the GWOT and she has been raising a family on her own.....you called her "a little girl" based on comments she made to a wannabe?

You should be a little more respectful in the Army House, take some time to find out who your talking too before you post something that will draw fire.

Just a suggestion as now I have to keep a close eye on that thread after your Willy P.

No problem and thanks for that.

The Marine - Army rivalry thing doesn't bother me that much but some do get upset/worked up over it. I've been told to tone it down more then once in the past. Cool

A lot of Marines are in the Army and NG. I had one as a PSG with the 2nd Armored Division Been that way since the 1980's at least.
