Wow. $70,000.

Tax Free I'm sure. (where you are at)

That is some serious coin.

For a Sgt 0311 to reenlist, the bonus is $48,000 or something along nthat line. But because I had a break in service, I get 60% of that. Not bad.

I will get this bonus 30 days after I hit the fleet.

Trigg, are you a Cpl? You will get a bonus if you keep your MOS 0311. It may be like $30,000-$35,000 maybe. Talk to your recruiter about it and don't let him B.S. you.

i got 25k... which is probably 60% of 41,500

I haven't heard anything about 70k for Lance Criminals and Corporals re-enlisting.

I'm going to go talk to the Career Planner in a week or so. Extensions for 18 months are getting a 15k bonus, and maybe I can con my way into picking which battalion to deploy with again.

This next tour to Iraq is my last and then I CAP out, gotta' make up my mind soon.

Congrats to those of you who have just recently gone back in. And thank you for the break down on how to go about reenlisting once you have gotten out. I have been out since June of 2005 and have been pondering if I would be happier back in. I just haven't been as fulfilled as a cop. I don't know if it is the agency or the career as a whole but the Corps. as popped back in my head during this lack of fulfillment. I'd have to get a waiver due to an injury on my previous enlistment but hopefully I could show that it is not a hinderance and thus insignifigant. Again, congrats and good luck to those of you who have made the jump again.

The bonuses are getting outrageous. I just helped my little nephew go throught the enlistment process for the Reserves, advised him to go 0352. They gave the kid a $20,000 bonus and $40G for the reserve GI-Bill
