greetings,

I'm Dennis. I'm a PFC at COM school and I've been told I'm going to 3rd Battalion 9th Marines. It's too early in the game for them to be willing to cut orders, and I've looked at USMC.mil and the unit directories of every USMC base I know of to try and find where they are, but I have come up empty. Anyone have a clue where 3/9 is?

1/9 and 2/9 are attached to 8th Marine Regiment at Camp Lejeune. However, 3d Battalion will reactivate sometime this fiscal year.

I believe that 3/9 is the newest USMC Battalion reactivated.They are probably down C.L N.C with 1/9.

I believe theyre attached to the 6th regiment.

And yeah, that battalion is about the size of a company right now so it should be pretty sweet.

1/9 is not in CLNC right now, they relieved me in Iraq and will be there until late Fall. They have already taken more casualties in a month than my Battalion did in 7 months.
