quote: I can kinda understand why posers do what they do. They really really want to be Marines but they can't be for whatever reason so they just pretend.
The reason that I understand is because I used to be a poser myself.
When I was in the Corps, I really really wanted to be a civilian so I used to run around acting like one. I wouldn't get my hair cut or I would put my hands in my pockets. I liked to dress up in civilian clothes and act like normal people. I really really wanted to be a civilian but I just couldn't be! Sooo, I was kinda stuck with posin' as a civilian.
Now that was funny! JSchmucatelli - I too miss the posts from Josepy, SundaySinner and the rest. My detours in Iraq kept me away from this forum. I'm posing as a RETIREE! Semper Fi Marines..

Sundaysinner showed up a couple of weeks ago on the SB. He is back form the box and is now a cop in Houston.

I dunno what "side" the old man is on, But he doesn't walk the beat anymore if that's what you mean. He's just "too damn old and its a young man's job" to walk the streets. He sits at a desk and processes paperwork from the guys who got arrested the night before. Its boring as Hell, but he is just waiting to retire.

Allow me to quote him from another website to clear things up..... quote: Well Ive been gone for awhile now, if anyone even noticed...due to my strict attendance at one of Houston's fine Police Academy. So now yours truly is driving around in a pretty cruiser all spiffed up.
Who would have thought.
Hope all is well with everyone.
