Hi my name is Dave, I am a military kid and I work as the sales manager for a company that makes safe chemical products. We have a GSA contract and are already supplying federal government customers including NOAA ships and need help getting Coast Guard customers. With your knowledge and ability to find contacts, we can pay you as a commissioned rep and you can earn quite well. There is no travel required, in fact we can talk by phone and get you acquainted with the products and handle other details. You can make sales by contacting units by phone, email, in person, or however you prefer. You can do this work from anywhere, really. It is our experience that federal buyers pay by credit card for these small to medium purchases and become loyal to good products and service, especially when there is a knowledgeable person to talk to that understands their job. So for you it would be an easy job to do with very few headaches. Any accounts you set up will be yours permanently, with future reorders handled by us and automatically paying you. There is no work time per week requirement, we just ask that you check in with customers (by phone etc.) at least every quarter, which is good customer service. The two main products are a safe acid for cleaning heat exchangers, drains, ship hulls, etc. and a general degreaser that is compatible with oily water separators. Let me know if you are interested!
Wish I could help, but most Sectors and small boat stations are being converted to a maintenance system called ALMIS. It specifies which chemicals and lubricants we can and can't use, pretty much all of them are through the national stock system. You might try the patrol boat fleet. Good luck
Hi thanks for that. I did some research, looks like that is an inventory system. I bet we could get the products into that system. The entire CG account is available as far as my company's products are concerned, so someone that spends some time getting us set up could make commission on every shipment to all boats and facilities for years to come. We are on GSA and that is the hardest part.
