Just watched a cool episode "The Coast Guard in Vietnam." Even saw a few shipmates I knew. It was a good production; if you get a chance when it comes around again, watch and/or record it.

The movie lasted a year for some of us,a real life event, real bullets,real guns,boom boom girls, 33 beer,3-5 days of free tours of the coast, Mekong Delta North to Danang,got to burn some hooches along the way with willie p,sink a few sampans with 50 cal and 81 MM,we each played a part in the movie.

Tributes to those who died in the parts they played,lest we forget them.

Plus the footage of the WHEC's was fairly early in the war. I have the DVD. Worth buying so you can watch it whenever you want.
