Article this week about Missouri operating a program to ensure homeless Vets received final burial honors. Apparently many are not and ending up in potter's fields (unknown and unmarked). Milne's case was featured. Homeless, found dead in a cafeteria where he worked in St. Louis county. Didn't give any details about his service other than he had been in the Coast Guard. His ex-wife Amy and daughter were found and attended the service. Bittersweet, sad...makes me wonder what he had done in life after leaving the Coast Guard to end up homeless in a donated grave.

Thanks for the links, and thanks for bringing this forward.

I read and watched with sadness.
