Hey Tom, do you know Don Vining? (CWO4 Ret.) I bumped into him here at the Daytona VA clinic the other day.. He spent a lot of time over in the St Pete area? How about Dwane Jones? Know him? If you see him tell him I said HI...

I'll be heading over to some Arts & Crafts Seafood Festival in Homosassa Springs the weekend of Nov 13th.."http://www.fl-seafood.com/consumers/festivals/homosassa_festival.htm" Been there before.. Had a great time. The guy I bought my 1964 Corvette (Retired E-8 USAF) lives there.

Wray...Cool

Old Veterans Day
Getting ready to show the Flag here at the retirement village.

Inhabitant observers. Average age 90. Coast Guard, One CWO WWII and Vietnam (State Dept), Army one Bull Colonel D Day plus 5 and One Sgt Engineer D Day minus 1, Marines One MGYSgt Korea, Navy One Cdr, CBs, Pacific, USAAF, B-17 LCol and PhD 33 missions driver, we lost the Navy guy from the Bataan Death March.

There are also many civilian and in-betweens. Probably a routine round-up but thought you’d like to see it.

Wray,
Better late than never.Don't know Vining. Jones was OinC of 82' out of Clearwater. Last heard he was going to become a home inspector. He was living in the Palm Harbor area. Haven't heard anything bout him in a long time.

Local TV station did a resturant highlight last week on Boyle's Backyard in Palm Harbor. The Coast Guard got a few mentions in the report.
