I am searching for any remaining shipmates from the "Commissioning Crew" of the Coast Guard Cutter "Confidence", the ship was built in Baltimore and commissioned in 1965 before heading for its original home port of Kodiak, Alaska. Any buddies out there?
I was one of the bartenders at the commissioning ceremony at the Yard in 1965, but didn't actually serve on the Confidence. Remember when it was launched it was "pink" some new paint system they were trying out!
