Just would like to know why the military advertises for jobs on sites knowing good and well that a person is not going to get such a job as easy as they make it seem, or if at all. It seems to just clog up the job search web sites and makes it a lot more frustrating that it needs to be.
I never considered staying in over 20 when i joined in the first place.
I did have a plan ..bought a piece of land 1 ac in liveoak florida with my first reEnlistment SRB..I was going to live there afterwards i figured being on the Fl/Ga borderline and so close to I-75 & I-10 Exit i could easly fine a job.
I still own that land but my plans had changed my wifes mom came down with cancer and my father in law ask me too ..consider building my house on some vacation property of his that he never used anymore ( he found a home on the Golf course he like around the same area) It was 5ac and i said sure..why not..i always figure if the uncle sugar check could pay the morgage i would find a job to pay the rest...i ain't to proud to sweat at anything.
