I've met plenty of good Marines of both liberal and conservative ideology. If you get bored one day, do a little research on members of the House and Senate who have actually served in the military. You might be surprised at what you find.How does THAT fit into this thread? We were talking about Presidential Candidates with emphasis on Obama.

I'm a big fan of McCain and will do everything I can to make sure he gets elected. But people that spout the kind of stuff that you do (of course you are not alone, you have plenty of company on this board) are no better than those on the other side who think anyone with an R after their name is a fascist. When I hear either extreme viewpoint, I am amazed by the sheer ignorance of it.

wow, i think im def offended. i honestly didnt believe that since i voiced my opinion i would be told not to join the Corp. why the hell should my political view have anything to do if i should be a Marine or not?!? im here to serve my country and ill be damned if im going to back out now
