I'm just sharing different viewpoints I'm coming across in order to promote discussion so unless I write something on top of the article's thread they're not intended to progress my personal viewpoints in any way.
Yeah right! When you gonna start selling swamp land? Different articles but not different viewpoints...
Let's see... recent articles...
Do Tuesday's elections foreshadow a 2010 Obama effect? (an article that alibies the Obama effect)
Uncivil War: Conservatives to challenge a dozen GOP candidates (and article that attacks Republicans)
Dem Health bill to get AARP backing (an article that pitches ObamaCare
Huffington's review of Plouffe's book on Candidate Obama to President Obama (Huffington? Enough said
Excellent material but totally biased (an article you say is GOP biased)
When are you going to start posting articles "for discussion" in equal numbers, that are harshly, and legitimatly, critical of Obama. There are thousands you know.
Of course you're posting to further your views. At least I'm truthful about why I post.
However, that said, there is nothing wrong with posting your articles, that support, provide evidence, provide reasoning for "your personal viewpoint". That's what debate is all about.
Ha ha ha ... I should have seen this one coming from you Mike. I ain't mad at ya Brother!
Seriously though, Huffington's Daily Report usually covers the conservative side so I was rather surprised it sounded in support of Obama myself.
As for listing my threads, I notice you left out the ones which take President Obama to task.
On a personal note Ips, Obama is making way too many drastic changes way to fast without regard to budget considerations for my liking. His gay rights thing is also unsettling while we're losing good people smack dab in the middle of two shooting campaigns. I'm with following CMC's lead and shelving that for a much later time when our people aren't in harm's way.
Like many I'm still trying to give the President Obama the benefit of the doubt but in all honesty it's becoming more and more difficult.
I still believe Colin Powell is the best man to lead us out of all of this because he's got the experience, the integrity and the courage to do the job right without making people pleasing compromises. Guess that's why he really chose not to run. Screw the skin color game. We need a real patriot who's been there to take command now and a former CJCS would be perfect. If he'll only run.
The problem with Powell, other than what I said in the other thread, is he's already 72 years old. He will be near 80 before he has another shot, unless he runs in 2010 but that's highly unlikely. He supported Obama; how could he then run against him, unless he admints to making a mistake on that endorsement. And admitting you were horribly wrong on who would be qualified as CiC isn't a good election slogan.
