is bugging the hell out of me.
Their president Manuel Zelaya, violated their constitution both spiritually and legally, yet the news, our state department and other governments around the world are screaming at the Honduran Congress and Supreme Court like they were the ones that violated the constitution. All be it the Congress faction may have over zelous in the actions.
If a president tried to change the Constituion so he could Run for a third time only 5 months before an Election there would some really ****ed off people. One top of that if he was firing people becuase they would not violoate the constitution and exciting riots to help enforce his will. what would we do? All be it we have some clear cut ways to impeach someone and they don't. But their congress didn't strart this they just finished it. They Didn't Kill Zelaya, he is just under house arrest until the Congress and Supreme court decide what is legal.
I totally agree, it sounds to me like he was taking the same path as Chavez. I'm sorry but if the Honduran Congress, Honduran Supreme Court and the Honduran Military are all in agreement.....how is that a Coup....exactly?
I'm trying to find information online that says President Obama's stance is correct OR has some legal standing of International Law behind it. Nothing so far.
Watching how Obama deals with world dictors and how he reacts to the situations in Iran and Honduras should give us pause to consider what his real intentions are for America. He has appointed 21 czars (more to come) who could eventually wield more power than congress, and has his minions working on repealing presidential term limits. He's a Marxist and seems to emulate Castro, Chavez, and Ahmadinejad and their style of oppresive governance.
