I'm middle economic left of center and just south of the social line..reason being...I think my current economic situation of government funded graduate school tutition and free VA healthcare reflect a few of my answers.

Economic liberal, but central socially.. hmmmm

Not sure about the test. Many of the questions where asked oddly. Examples

It is important that my child's school instills religious values. Based on the the answers given I had to disagree, however I think that instilling religious values in my children is very important.

Mothers may have careers, but their first duty is to be homemakers. I agreed with this one, but I dont think its there first duty, some families dont have a choice and require both members to work, My wife does stay home with the kids, but I would not describe it as her duty.

The businessperson and the manufacturer are more important than the writer and the artist.

I disagree with this statement, but recognize that without the first there will be no second. so in reality the businessperson and manufacturer are more important as the writer and artist could not live without them. But from a social standpoint I dont think one is more important than the other.

It is a waste of time to try to rehabilitate some criminals.

I disagreed with this statement, because I want to believe in the good of man, but statistically some folks ( like sex offenders) have almost no chance at all of reform.

The most important thing for children to learn is to accept discipline. Again I had to disagree, because of the verbage and choices to answer. I dont know that its the "most" important, but it is certainly very important.

Good parents sometimes have to spank their children. This question threw me off, why the word good? It almost seems to imply that "bad" parents already do spank their kids, but sometimes "good" parents may have to as well?



There where a lot of questions on this test that I did not feel good about my answers on and picked the one that I disagreed with the least.
