Hey i was wondering how long is tech school now for SF?

Around 13 weeks, I heard they actually plan on making it longer in the near future.

I heard the same thing when I came through a few years back. They want to integrate more combat-oriented training into the curriculum. I think it'd be a good idea with the types of missions were doing these days.

They said that when I went through......in 1999.

Since the career field was consolidated tech school has been extended twice (I believe that's the correct number).

An 81 day tech school has been an unfunded requirement since the consolidation (1996). One day someone might find the money to make it happen.

mmm... I never did like tech school but I think think the real kicker was when they told us forget everything when you get to your first base they will train you......I remember my team sitin there looking at each other and wondering why they where there. lol I did learn a good bit.
