I just re-enlisted in the USAF. With the enlistment came an SRB. My wife and I were counting on getting this money so we can start the process of buying our first home.

When I called Finance, the Airman there told me he has to wait for an R-7 to drop into the system before he can authorize payment. He said it can take up to two months. Does anyone know anything about this? Is it possible to talk to someone to get it quicker?

2 months sounds about right. you can't make the process go any faster.
