Do Coast Guard Aircrew members have to go to SERE like the Navy? I know you're not necessarily combat oriented, but I know you fly over some 'not-so-friendly' places also. Just curious.

Not a requirement.

Some aircrew have had versions of SERE over the years for special events.

Yes we've had aircrews go to SERE school. The previous AMT RFMC went....among a few others.
