I know we all don't have our concrete orders but as my husband's Master Chief said today, the concrete is being poured. So with that said, our foundation appears to be Airsta Elizabeth City, NC. So...... any AMT2's want to trade? Due to my health we would like to be near my doctors and family in MA. Obviously we haven't talked to command yet due to the concrete not hardening yet but I wanted to feel everyone out and see if any AMT2 going to Airsta Cape Cod would be so kind to swap with my husband and go to Airsta E-city, NC instead. I'm going to take stab and say you guys are at AirSta Clearwater and he fly's H60's??

I understand what you're trying to do. As you noted....the orders have not been issued yet. That likely means no one else's orders have been issued yet either. Even if what you guys are trying to do is "doable", if no one else has orders it might be a little tough for a volunteer to say anything with certainty this early.

To be honest....the path you're taking by posting here seeking an orders swap is not the best path. If your hubby presented his case and you guys are still penciled in for ECity, there is probably a pretty good reason why. I know your hubby's MCPO's. It's up to you guys.....but the proper path (and what I respectfully suggest) is your hubby should be working this thru them vs you asking around here for potential volunteers. The LCPO Conference is coming up so anything is still possible.

Also.....if you health is such, did you register with the Special Needs program?

Yes I have been on special needs for a long time now and it hasnt helped. I am by no means trying to jump any chain of command, just putting feelers out there. I respect decisions made and have been in the Law Enforcement field since I have been old enough so completely understand chain of command. I was under the assumption that this board was for members and their spouses to be able to talk freely amongst themselves to see what possiblities lie out there without repercussion. If I assumed incorrectly this lies solely on my head and NOT my husband's.
