Lost my job the other day as a helicopter flight instructor. The company i was going to work for went belly up and crashed the job market for low time pilots.

Anyway, thought i would get my A&P in the mean time and wait for the market to even out. I am in sacramento, any body here work over at MCC?

Did your work for Silver State helicopters? I just read they are declaring bankruptcy. I have a good frined that went through the training, got his licenses and took a job with them in New York as an instructor. I guess he might be out of work now too.

Yep.......I went to silver state, Im one of the lucky ones that made it out just in time. I got hired with a silver state school in Jacksonville FL, on friday and the school went under on sunday.

So i think your buddy is out of job to. Let me know if it gets hired.

I have a call into him. Really sucks since he is from AZ and moved to N.Y. for the job. Hopefully his house didn't sell while he was there.
