I have been reading forums in several different locations in regards to the AMT "A" school classes for 2009. From what I have gathered the classes for 2009 have been drastically cut back. I am currently 56 on the "A" school wait list and i am trying to get a feel for when i might recieve orders for the airman program. Any information would be helpful.

With the recent reduction in the number of classes and class size for fiscal year 2010, it would be my guess that you would be in a fiscal year 2011 graduating class.

Does anybody know where you can view the projected class dates for FY 2010?

the bad news is there is only one class so far scheduled.

So judging by the link it would appear that the classes are going to be made up on the fly. For anyone who works at ATTC, has there been any hear say as to what the school is going to do. I have heard everything from shutdown temporarily to cut back classes, all of which are not the most positive.

My husband just finished A School and from what he was telling me the school will only have 2 classes this coming year. And one of them is just now in the first phase... Things are always changing though, so who knows?
It kind of makes sense IMO, the economy isn't good right now, so a lot of Coastie's are re-upping. With the rate being so popular, and no AMT's getting out of the service it stands to reason that they would slow it down or possibly close the rate for a bit.
