Is this MOS hard to get in the reserves?
I know it's not an entry level MOS but is it a very hard slot to get?

CID is short Agents in Active duty, Reserves and National Guard. Check the website for CID units locations as well as qualifications:

www.cid.army.mil

Also do a search in this forum, there are a few threads about the MOS.

Hey Ozone, you were asking the same questions in the MP and MI forum back in September.

Quit wasting our time and make a decision.

Good idea.

Here is a tip, there really aren't that many agents in CID. Its generally not a good idea to go pissing on agents in public forums before you even start.

Wow, that is MP material right there. He was right, you made a thread about it last year and asking again. It seems you are wasting peoples time. Why is that?

Is this the same guy who was trying to get info on National Guard CID in another forum under an assumed name? Sounds like a similar mental capacity.

The other guy was gijoey, and yes, same attitude. It's interesting, gijoey was, I think, a Sgt on those other posts, and now he shows WO1, and aviation branch. Sounds like he can't make up his mind...

Living in OH, Ozone won't find any Reserve CGIS agent spots, either.

Took my friend almost 5 years to get into CID...he was a Army Reserve MP (EPW) who did two deployments and then went though the whole vetting process of becoming a full CID agent.

Now he's CID PSD.

WOCs that come in off the street are made Sgt E-5's. He maybe legit. Thought I thought you didn't get branched till you made W-2.

Howdy. Yes I WAS a SGT. And now I am a W1. WOCS is only 4 weeks long ya know. And for the 999th time, there was no confusion on my career path, I am NOT pursuing CID (I've done that in the past already). My previous question was only about credentials, but everyone put words in my mouth.

You officially get branched once you graduate WOBC. However, since they did away with the eagle rising, when you wear your Class A's or Blues you wear your prospective branch anyway. Additionally I am not a "street to seat" guy. I was an actualy SGT in a few enlisted MOS's.

Don't try to oust me like Im full of it. I've been around the block a time or two and there is nothing I dislike more then a poser. If you think I am, was, or maybe might not be something, ask and I'll tell ya.
