I've thought about it for a while now, and I finally found something in the military that might suit me the best! I just want some opinions on anyone that's an active MP...If I join I'd like to join active! I understand this is YOUR opinion, so I don't care if it's good or bad (also if you're a female MP that's great too! I'd love to hear from another girl on what it's like to be in the military!)

Also...a little off topic, I do have a tattoo that's visible on the back of my neck, will this effect my chances of becoming a MP? How long is the waiting list for the military (army or Marine) I live in Georgia if that makes a dif.

I think the reason that no one has answered you in my opinion, is that you haven't done the very little bit of homework.....you know, actually going to a recruiter is doing some homework. He/She can answer the question about the tat, and He/She can also tell you about how the Army and all the other services for that matter, get applicants in. If you don't want to go that route, you should check out the Forum for Thinking of Joining/Wannabes......you can get some good info there. That is all I'm going to say.

well since this post I have gone to a recruiter! the tattoo on the back of my neck isn't a big deal, I have infact done a lot of "homework" on this, as well. It's taking me a while to get the nerve up to actually go and talk to a recruiter (why I was so scared, I still don't know now!) but that was probably the main reason to my posting!
