I filed bankruptcy (chapter 7) one year ago, my credit is clear and I have no debt. A recruiter told me that there is waiver for bankruptcy to join the Army but not sure about 31B. I would like to know if anyone has any info on becoming an MP with bankruptcy.

you should be ok. They look at the "whole person".
as long as you disclose it you will be fine. I had the same problem awhile back and everything turned out just fine, as long as it was not you knowingly living outside your means.
Up until very recently I was going to try MP's but my recruiter spoke to the security person at MEPS and they wont even try me since I have a bankruptcy. They havent even looked at my record at all. That is my only issue, no moral waivers at all.
