i have a friend that went into the army in mid may well we all had a blonde moment and forgot to give him our address to write. he is in boot camp in missouri. i know he's in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas city.

Well if he is at Boot Camp/BCT in Missouri, then he is at Fort Leonard Wood, MO, not Fort Leavenworth which is in Kansas.

Sounds like you're still having a blonde moment....

Well, there, Ms. Manners, you obviously know he went to MPs, since you posted here. Try thinking for yourself, and put 2 and 2 together. Take that bit of information. Expand on it. Google US Army basic training, and Military Police. I bet you find a link for Ft. Leonard Wood, and the MP training command. I'll bet there is info on how to locate or contact a recruit. Or, at least an information number or e-mail. It's not brain surgery.

So? A lot of us were in the service under Pres. Reagan. Myself, during his first term. And second. Then Bush. Then Willie. Then Bush, again. That doesn't change the fact that you're a boot and a rookie.
