What are the chances i will see combat as a 31E. I know technically any mos can be attacked or whatever but how often do 31E get out and doo stuff.

Although I can't answer this question with any degree of certainty, I can deduce:

1) As a 31 class, your chances of seeing combat are more likely than...for example, 36 class (Finance).

2) Seeing as how 31E is internment/resettlement, your chances of seeing combat is less likely than...for example, 11 class (Infantry), and probably less than 31B (MP).

If it's action you're looking for, reason suggests that 11B, or any of the 13, 14, 15, 19 classes are optimal choices.

Of course, as you said, any MOS has the possibility of seeing combat.

Hopefully someone with experience can come along and answer your question more accurately.

31E cage kicker. Your normal everyday job is prison life. Although the Army has stuck 31E slots in MTOE MP companies E-6 - E-7. But no one can answer with certain whether a person will see combat.

If your question is will you deploy into a combat area, probably.

If you mean does 31E see comabt when deployed it depends. U won't see it in a jail or confiment facility, but you may be in a convoy and get hit or ambushd, you may take indirect fire on your FOB or COP. So theres always a chance you'll see something.
