I am trying to find my son's father. He was in the army for the last year and i was receiving child support. Then the child support stopped about 3 months ago. The child support office got a letter from the army stating that he was now in a "nonpay status" whatever that means. Well i just heard that he went awol. I was also told that he was caught back here in our home town and arrested because of it. Is there any way for to find out if this is true and if it is what is going to happen to him. My son is in daycare for the summer while school is out, so having to pay for that and not having child support has been tough. I was told that sometimes after you go awol that they will make you come back and fulfill your enlistment but not pay you, which would be we won't get child support for the next 3 years. any help would be great, thank you
