I'm sceduled to ship out for 31 Bravo MP what have I really got myself into. What is it like to be a MP honestly.

Good luck at Fort Lost in the Woods, Say hello to "the pit" for me. Hope you go to 787, enjoy your "vacation". As for being an MP that all depends on if your active duty, reserves, guard. Also depends where you go. Remember come training at Stem Village to stay awake at all costs and beware of death by power point.

I will be Active Duty, I just want to know if a active duty MP a good lifestyle, is it enjoyable and what should I do to prepare myself.

PT also more PT then some more PT.

Besides the obvious PT, know your general orders, know the Army values. Wouldn't hurt to know the Mission of the MP. Know the Army song and the regimental march. No kidding we had to know those things.

Just stay alert and listen to what you're being told.

Went through OSUT probably before your time so some things have changed. What has not is that the MP probably has the widest variaty of assignments in the Army. (M)ulti (P)urpose is not just a joke it's a lifestyle in the Corp. You could be doing anything from day to day. Be flexible and keep your head on straight.

Does anyone know a day in life for a MP do you get any free time to live life.

Got to travel some in Germany way back when. You get days off if your not deployed. But then again I recall coming off a shift on the road and shipping out to Central America in the middle of the night for a couple of months then being on the roster for the next day when I got back too. But what a life, remember it like it was yesterday. (1986 it was)

Ok so I guess MPs really enjoy there life and there MOS I heard the live and party hard.

I really appericate everyone knowledge I'm really feeling great about being a MP in our great army here's my last question where do most MPs get stationed
