My SIL has Horning syndrome. I may have the spelling wrong.
Daughter works but their deductible on Ins is 5,000.00 with a 7,000.00 year premium consuming a chunk of only 25,000.00 a year.
They face losing everything and we are strapping ourselves helping them.
He has 6 years service in the NG minus a few days. Cane he qualify for any kind of aid from VA?
They can't get Food Stamps as long as they(we) can pay their bills. He can have his job back when they find out what is the cause, mostly likely a stroke and they can fix it. He can't qualify for Unemployment because he is medically unable to work.
Strange that as long as wwe give them money they can't get help and giveing them money is jeopardizing us.

I am not sure. he might be able to get medical care, but he probably does not have enough AD time for anything. A VSO can help. Call one in the AM and see.
I think you can structure it so that you are not giving them money. Make it a loan. Put it in writing.
