My ailing mother-in-law cheated death once again. She is a WWII Vet Widow, and now lives with my wife and I, as she can no longer care for herself. Where can I find eligibility requirements to have my VA comp increased to the "Veteran with Spouse & One Parent" rate? My wife is an RN. Is there any info as to how AA (Aid & Attendance) might apply to my situation. Thanks! --Jim Life is good!

Best to talk to a VSO. They can help you with the increase, and with A & A, which is the hardest part. I just looked at that for my mother in law as her costs were exceeding income for a while. A GOOD VSO is your best bet.

Hi Dave, Happy New Year! Thanks for the advice. I will be in Togus this week, so I will stop by and see my DAV VSO - who is excellent by the way. --Jim Life is good!
