I've seen the list of all the FS billets in the CG, but haven't been able to find it again. Can someone point me in the direction to where they are all listed. I would like to see what jobs are out there.

You can access the old Enlisted Billet Manual, last updated in the 80's. Or if you can get on to Direct access> Self Service> Employee> Tasks> Create E-Resume, then put in FS for Job Family, click on to Job Code>Lookup>Choose the grade you are searching for. On the main page check the box to see all listings and hit search.
Have Fun

The best source of info for your questions would be straight from the message put out by the detailers. You can find copies of all messages by going to CG Central via intranet then accessing the All CG Enlisted messages and reading through.
A general snap shot would be Billets come out in September, Dream Sheets are due in November, Placements begin in December for Higher Priority Billets, and the Detailers try to get everyone else placed by April. You can look forward to moving anywhere from April to end of August, depending on when your old unit wants to let you go, and when your new unit wants you.
The waiting is the hardest part.

how accurate is the shopping list at this point? Still a lot of changes to be made or do you think it's pretty right on?

Is their an "official date" as to when it's set in stone that these are the open billets?

The list that is in DA is not totally correct. The offical list wont come out till about the 24th of Septemeber. Example I was looking at going to a unit that was on the list all the way up till the day the list offically came out last year.

If you don't want to wait until the end of Sept, you can always find who fills the spots that you want and Network a bit. Find out if the job is what you truely want and when the person is leaving. Some will respond to inquiries, and others will leave you hanging, 'cause they feel they don't have time to answer emails.
Information is power
Good hunting

I saw 15 or 20 billets in DA that are supposely open in FY10 So I thought I would get a head start and send some emails around just to see how the units operate, the area, etc.
There were only a few people that responded and those who did were great. I don't understand how someone can't take 5 minutes from their (busy) day and respond. It's almost like their scared that someone is going to take their billet. Well, news flash, if you are due to transfer, your billet will be on DA in September.
This subject just really fires me up.

I have done this myself this year with success. I feel you will be better prepared for that job if you know what your getting into. Just cause you want that Sta. you may not really want the area that its in after talking to someone.

Read my whole post and you'll know why I have my reasons for NOT waiting until September. You sound like one of our wonderful FS's who withold information just to be an A--. To start with, mind your own business

Boys Boys, Lets not resort to name calling here.
As far as him minding his business, this is a public forum and it is an exchange of ideas and ways to help. But if you say something that might be construed as pokable, expect to be poked. When you are the one doing the poking be sure that it is in the general direction of the gut and not the eye. Somebody might get their feelings hurt.
Smile and have a great CG Day

Had I of known you were so thin skinned I wouldn't have said anything. BTW, your E-resume isn't due until November.

I wasn't trying to get you all spun-up. But if this is the way you act toward others, I hope you don't email me for info about my unit.

Kyle,
I emailed you back this morning about this unit..

As for the way I act toward others, seems like you're the man with the attitude and all the answers. Trust me I wouldn't want to relieve someone like you nor would I ever email you.
