I'll start this one. Have any FS2's found out where they are going, besides the ones going to PATFORSWA? I am starting to hear rumors up here in Alaska so I was just wondering?

Don't have a clue yet. I've got a med board pending which is throwing a kink into my transfer plans. I'm going nuts waiting to find out what the Guard is gonna do with me.

I'm wet with anticipation! Sure I'll know later than the rest of you guys though, and by then all the good stuff will be gone.

It's a 110, I have a blast, a lot of collaterals but still fun, the AOR is all South East Alaska, Inside Passage with a couple of gulf runs. It's normal PB life, great Command.

I loved Hawaii. Would go back in a heartbeat. Congrats. Is your husband from there? The last name looks Hawaian. Know any Johansens from the Big Island?

I'm still waiting for the med board to get all finalized, but I hope to know something firm by months end.

Anyone hear anything about the 4 new 87' billets opening up or where they are going to be home ported?

Who knows what billets are left besides what's in Direct Access?

Sunprincess;

You ever get a chance look up Jason and Charlene Johansen. Jason is a retired FS/SS. We were stationed together in the early 90's on Oahu. Later when I was stationed in NC they also got stationed here. I love them like family and they are good people. I think Charlene was Mrs Hawaii in 1984 or 1985. Tell them Willy Willis sas hi and I will see them soon.

Well, I've finally got the med board all wrapped up. Looks like I'm going to be staying in and staying an FS.

Now I'm just waiting to hear from Mr. D about some orders.

With any luck, I'll get something close to the wife out there in LA. We've been apart almost 10 months now since she transferred last year and I had to hang around for the medical board.
