Just had some inspection here at our ANT and had a Chief tell us that any Coffe Mess areas must have a daily inspection checklist. Is there any manual where a specific check can be found follwing COMDT guidelines? I've looked in the COMDINST m6240.4A but couldnt find any clear answer.
There is no specific checklist for a coffee mess. If you email me in the global, I can send you what I have used in the past as a unit FSO. It was looked on favorably during HS and FSAT inspections.
I would think it would be held to the same WEEKLY standards the your DF is on....CG-5145...thats just me though. Unless of course the Chief was talking about the normal daily check out by the OOD....
