Does anyone know for sure whether AET is still on the open rate list? The last messege I have seen was in December, but I have seen stuff lately which shows that it may not be quite as critical.

I was an AET3 on active duty for 4 years, left in Sept. 2004, and am now looking to go back active now that I am done with school, and have twins on the way in July. Any info would be great.

The AVT/AET's had it good for many years, but things are starting to slow down. I recommend that you hurry up, but keep in mind that the "gravy train" is no longer and you will have to study for advancment. Take what I say with a grain of salt....lol I'm just a bitter AMT

remember it can change due to the needs of the service. It should be reviewed in June so you may not want to wait.

They just exhausted the November '07 AET2 Advancement list. This is probably the 5th or 6th time an advancement list has been exhausted for AET2.
