This is from my college notes:

Prior to takeoff, the horsepower of the Pratt and Whitney 2800 (a twin banked radial engine) may be effectively boosted to 2800 by Injection of an Anti Detonation fluid composed of water and methanol. I'm assuming that ADI is anti detonation injection?

That was a good question. I never worked on those. I had to do the research to learn about it. The water injection makes sense. IAW Wikipedia, there are many variations of the 2800. It would need a "W" designation to be water injected. The engine was used on many aircraft, notable for us, the Convair. Also the same plane Lynard Skynard crashed on.

There is a radioactive substance inside the rotor blades. When some is released a geiger counter on top of the helo activates a rotor blade malfunction indicator light in the cockpit.

Close, but not exactly. "Exposed" might be a better term than released (bad for the pigeons too!)

That's a good one!!!

I'd guess you would use a wood stick/grounding rod and/or knock them down or push them away from the source????

Grab the nearest camera. People that are getting "bit" make the funniest faces. Yes, I know this from personal experience.
