good guess. It is 63.5 ft.

What voltage would you get if you read phase to phase on aircraft power?

Ahh, I feel better. 66 feet is a good length for an end-fed random length HF wire.

1.71 phase voltage comes to mind... Confused

Ok...here is a few hints. It is an acronym or sorts related to the H52. The H3 had a similar one but I think it was in a different order.

Would it be within the slip indicator?

Nope. Last hint before I say what it is. It's referring to what is located in the "broom closet". (we do know what the broom closet is...don't we???) Dave1960 where are you at???

Ahh, heck with it. I don't want to drag it out. LCPY = LT Cdr's Piss Yellow stands for Lateral, Collective, Pitch, Yaw. Inside the broom closet there was a 4 channel hydraulic package (a mixing unit if you will) that provided flight control inputs to the 3 primary servos on the rotor head. Every now and then they would leak and the AM's, AD's or AE's would have to change out the unit. LCPY was how we were taught which channel controlled which input. The H3 was a different order....which I don't remember.

One other thing....the broom closet on the H52 was located on the right side of the cabin, just behind the cockpit. Further aft of it was the radio rack, then the FM's seat, facing aft of course.

Sorry to jump in late but I believe HH3F it was Roll,Collective, Pitch and Yaw or "RCPY"
Royal Canadians Pee Yellow. It has been a few years and my memory is not as good as it use to be but I do have an H3 Flight Manual in the attic I could dig out.

Here I be. Sorry for being tardy but the PERSMAN Chap 5 C 13 f blurb has been occupying my time.

The broom closet was a quaint place. Yaw kicks were fixed in what manner? Anyone remember?
