Bluesteel, I forgot about the H-3 version. In the H-52, the same basic check was done but the tilt table also came in quite handy for getting a boring flight finished a bit more quickly. Anyone able to expound upon that?

It is so tempting to answer this, but it is time to let others play. So, I'm taking a back course to holding on this one. Confused

No one answered the question on the first Coast guard "Search & Rescue" Airstation correctly.
Moorehead City was the first "Airstation" but it wasn't designated as serch and rescue....
The answer is San Diego.....1937, built because of all the Navy pilots at North Island that needed saving.
This I found in the old Basic SAR Aircrew course.

for the 28vdc motors, all I can think of is either oil cooler flap actuator or the elevator trim actuator when emergency is selected?

You know, I can't remember a thing about the wiper motor, I think it might be ESS DC.

28 vdc motors, two
One used for fuel
And the other for...?

One drains a load
The other turns a load blue! Big Grin

I'll try not to keep this suffering going for long. Wink

Refueling manifold drain pump and the atomic toilet flush motor; both powered from Main DC.

Never could remember where the wiper motor breaker was!

Your turn... (poetry not required) Smile
