I was wondering if I would be able to go with my husband when he goes into his AET A school?

My brother pulled it off but it was very costly. The USCG doesn't pay perdiem or lodging or rent a car. So everything was out of pocket. He moved out of his house and used his BAH from Oregon in E-city.(lots of hot dog sandwiches and bologna) I also have heard of people being from that area and commuting there daily. I don't know the schools policy on this topic. But do keep in mind "A" school is a place where he will need to concentrate most of his time on school anyways. Nobody said "A" school is not tough. If he doesn't focus his attention on school he may not make it through. So bear that in mind when he is engrossed in his studies there. His scores play a role in where you will get stationed so let him focus.
