For a coast guard AET. Where is your work environment is it in a hanger. Do you guys have fun and do you feel proud when you get on a helicopter. Also is their a guaranteed A school for AET and what does that mean

You'll work in the shop, hangar and on the ramp. Guaranteed A school means you go right out of boot camp into the airman program then upon completion of that (4 months), you'll go to A school where you learn the basics of the AET rate.

As far as do we feel proud, that's a personal question so everyone feels differently about it. If you aspire to be a Senator but are an AET, then you will feel less excited about your job than someone who worked their butt off to get into the Coast Guard and through A school. I personally am proud of the Coast Guard and the work that we do because we make a difference in someone's life on a daily basis.
