I just wanted to know if you ended up working on an HU-25, would the rest of your CG career end up just working on those. Or could you switch to other airframes quite easily?
I started my career as an airman on HH-60's. Then I was a Flight Mech at AS New Orleans on HH-65B&C. Now I am a Radioman in Kodiak on C-130's. I'm not saying it is easy to switch airframes. I'm just saying that it does happen. On the other hand it is easier for you and the detailer to keep you on the same airframe. It keeps you specialized. Make sure your Senior Chief knows of your intentions so he can help you attain your goals.
