I am just wondering if anyone knows which report dates for the airman program have already had orders given out? My husband is on the list (as of right now, he is the lowest number with no holds) and we are just curious what the possible report dates would be. Thanks so much!

There is good info in there. You might have to do some legwork.....but I had my orders figured out to within about 2 weeks lol.

Keep in mind, the Detailer will TRY to get orders out 45-60 days before the report date to the AN program.

The updated school list will show what school dates are still available.

Best of luck!

I have been checking out that site, I just don't know which dates have already had orders. Have orders been given out for the September report date? How about October? We are just trying to do a little planning, what with a baby on the way and whatnot. Thanks!

I've seen orders recently for the August AMT class so I would say September hasn't been done yet since they are done by the same guy. If you husband has no NPY or ADM next to his name, on that alone he will bypass all the unfortunate folks who are hung up with physicals or administrative snafu's. It's hard to say how far down the list they will go but since he is ready to go, that will bode in his favor. I just looked at the list and if your husband is on the CGC Campbell, he will be the first one to get orders to the next class.

I know this is off topic, but on that link above, it states that "All Aviation candidates must be able to swim a required, 75yrds and tread water for 2 minutes as per the AIROPS Manual (COMDINST M3710 series)". Am i confusing the requirements or is that less than the required bootcamp swim minimums?

Yes it is different than boot camp, the Basic swim test for Aviation requires all to swim the 75 yards in flight suit, along with weighted vest, and helmet, and boots. Not difficult if you are a good swimmer to begin with. I’ve seen a lot of people struggle with this every year. Most would do better if they could be relaxed and breathe slower.

Oh thanks, that clears it up. I'm not too good of a swimmer, so I'm working on it now twice a week before bootcamp. I leave in January.
