It's suppose to come out on Sept 28th but each unit is expected to review the billets on the list to make sure it's correct. They have until mid October to update all the changes so I wouldn't kill yourself trying to be the first one to turn one in because it will change quite a bit before all is said and done.
Hitron is switching airframes from the Augusta's to MH65C's so that means they will now have to work on their airplanes, thus the big increase in billets for them.
We had a guy just report in to Clearwater and when he left us he was looking forward to going back but once he got there he said it's even busier than it was on his prior tour. You see their Herc's EVERYWHERE when your on the road...

Clearwater is a busy place and will be even worse of next year. That's all I can say.
If that's the truth then what are they going to do with that shiny new hangar over there in Mobile???
The MH65C's are being built now at Ecity. ARSC bought a few used airframes from around the world so now the numbers are going to be in 6600 series since they aren't reissuing the numbers of the planes that have been lost in mishaps. I think I saw the 6601 on the ARSC ALMIS page recently.
I hadn't heard anything about problems with the Casa program. I hope that's just a bad rumor.
The shopping list is still being updated, I know we had to send in a few corrections just today. I would hold off till next week before you fill out a dreamsheet.

I also hope the CASA Program having problems is a bad rumur. I know there are alot of good folks working very hard to provide the best possible Fixed wing asset that they can. Most would say, it will all shake out during O.T.&E. (Operational Testing and Evaluation) that will be conducted over the next few months in Mobile.
As for the shopping list I would list the Air Stations in order of your likes, to will do if you are made to. Whether or not they show up on the shopping list. Due to last minute changes that could take place after they say it is done.
I suppose someone needs to start nasty rumurs just to see if they can dig up real news. From what I can see accross the field in E.City the Casa is flying on a regular bassis.
The shopping list is out, as good as it will get. If you are due to rotate in 08' then you should figure out where you would like to go and put it at the top of your e-resume. Then follow that with the rest in desending order. Next year is no differant than any other year. The Leading Chiefs will get together and discuss their units needs for the up coming transfer season based on what you guys put on your e-resume. Good luck to you all.
I am at ARSC. The CG has purchased Green airframes from france as well as a couple of used ones. there are going to be 6601, 6602, etc tail numbers. Some of them have 0 flight time. The CASA program is expercing alot of problems with the avionics pallet. that is about all i know of that on.
Heard from a new reliable source that the Coast Guard is only getting a few (6-8) Casa planes. So, I am not sure what they are going to do with the new shiny hanger over there in Mobile.

They were just talking in the shop that Miami is testing the S-3 Viking from the Navy. How Many fixed wings do we need?!
