I just wanted to find a place to say a few words about my Grandfather, George F. Fett he was in World War II he was in the army. When he came home he joined the Chicago Police Force and retired as a LT.He never stopped serving his country, his community or his family. He was the greatest man I know he was a father to me, he was a wonderul person. He was so proud to have served with his company in the army and he always spoke of it and would share with us as much as he could.
I want him to be remembered even if it is in these small ways because he was a true american, and a great human being. He taught me how to love and to respect people and to be the best I could be, he showed me a unconditional love that I try to instill in my own two daughters.
I will never forget him as he was my hero. You are all my heroes and MAY GOD BLESS YOU.
