That ain't no curse brother!! That's reality. Oh and dannyroar81, how do you figure? Then why do they come out with early advancement authorizations and exhaust certain rates from the NOV 07 SWE if we are not allowed to advance until July? And really who's complaining? Are we not allowed to be frustrated at the system here? |

For all those people out there complaining you should have had your stuff done and sat for the May 07 SWE, but lets not look at ourself lets point the finger at the system. LOL

DS maybe this is the 1st SWE we are eligble for. Not enough time in grade for me, so get all you stuff done in time for MAy 2007 SWE is a riduculous comment at best.

Never said anything about being frustrated at the system. I'm guessing you took the swe for BM1. There were some other people saying because there rate past the cut off, that they should have started advancing off the November list. If you have taken a swe before thats not how it works. I will be taking my 3rd swe for first. I scored in the top 20 for the november one, and really crappy in the May 07. I'm pretty sure I will make the cut for Nov 07. I'm still going to take the swe for may even if they don't have the cut offs for the November yet. And its not about advancing by July. If your rate falls past the cut off with members still on the swe list before July they will keep advancing it until July. If there are people below the cut, they continue with those names until they finish then move to the next list. if they exhaust a list, everyone on the list will be advance and when the list is done they continue to the next list. I don't see where the problem is. |

A lot of tension goes away when you see in black and white that you are ablove the cut. There is a huge psychological factor to be taken into account. Some people are better able to handle that tension than others. Personally, I totally agree with you about the process running its course and people being advanced according to that process, but at the same time I also have that bug biting me. I just want the November cuts to come out just so I know. I also did not take the May 07 test. |

very well put and i agree totaly. i also didnt take the May07 SWE but i did take the Nov07 and i am just waiting to see the cut so i will atleast know where if i will advance or not. it sucks not knowing. |

attended the assignment year 09 road show today. the YN detailer was the instructer, she said the nov swe cut will be in approx 2 weeks.

I just hope that the reason these cuts are taking so long to come out is because the powers that be intend to go pretty far down a couple of the lists and they want to ensure their ducks are in a row.
Naturally, I hope the list for AET1 is one of them. Good luck to all of you who are right with me, anxiously awaiting the cuts to come out. |

Well, here we are, the last day of March. It sure would be nice if the cuts come out today, I am tired of waiting for them. I hope we don't end up like the May 07 SWE and our cuts not come out until after the next SWE. YN2wootwoot, keep me posted if they come out, I am on leave in FL this week. Thanks man! Yeah, not looking forward to the possiblity that I could end up needlessly studying for and taking another SWE.
I wish they would at least put out a really conservative cutoff message so at least some people aren't in the dark. Then they can take as long as they want revising the cuts for all I care. Of course, the fact that I'm in the top 25% off the Nov SWE might make me a little biased  |
