WOW!! what a load of crappola! Why is this happening? The cutoff is now at 169 for BM1!! I'm really happy for the people who are making it...but dang. I guess that means they won't hit on the NOV SWE list until OCT 08!!!! And that's wishful thinking...
can anyone tell me the OS1 Cutt offs for the May 2007 that just came out today. usually on advancement messages it says internet release authorized so I dont see the problem in posting it.
Dannyroar, a new ALCOAST came out about a month ago stating that the only unit authorized to post anything on the internet was the HQ Commcen. The "Internet release Authorized" phrase is now directed towards them.

I'm guessing Nov cuts will have to wait for atleast a couple of months
How many revision they usually do? How does it work? do they have to kill the may list before nov's list come's out? I think im out of the coast guard before they advanced me. I'm 13 on the SK2 nov list, will i make it before november 08 (my contract ends in november and im going to reserves). I hope i make SK2 before moving to the reserves.

History shows, that the May revised and Nov cuts have always been a couple of days to a week apart. Friday would be great but I'm not holding my breath since it will be the longest in 6 years for the cuts to come out. w00t w00t making history...

Some of my shipmates that made the recent revised cut for May are actually below me on the Nov SWE. Wish everyone could make it but for real, don't you want the top guys and the high performers for the job? Like my man said, isn't this a compitition. I don't get it.

I don't know what all the complaining is about. The swe is done the same way, year after year. People are complaining about being on the November list and saying they scored high and should start advancing off that. Nov 2007 SWE doesn't start Advancing until July1st. Like every year. Whether or not the May cuts end up going over the expected cuts or not. Normally they cut ends up being the lowest name they believe to have room for advancing. They advance off the May list Until July 1st. No matter if they make more then the cut suggests.
While I understand the frustration we all went though the same thing with the MAY 07. You are waiting to find out if you are going to make it and I am still waiting to find out when I will make it. There are 53 people above the cut on my list and they have only made 9. My suggestion is, wait your turn to complain because it will get even more frustrating in the next few months if you are going for E-6. As for the SK3, trust me you will make it JULY 01 if not before.
