truebm2, where are you on the list? If you transfer as a 2nd oh well, as a 1st fantastic and you'll make it at your next unit...I was just trying to say we do not have any control over this! Why create so much anxiety for ourselves, I'm on the list with you guys, waiting like everyone else. Is it really fun to keep bringing up these threads, I don't decide that for everyone else. Happy waiting...maybe, Happy torture....surely. Just playing devil's advocate here.

It's always torture waiting, it starts as soon as you leave the SWE testing sight after thinking about how horrible you wrote and lasts until that glorious day on first of the month. Thats if your lucky anyway.

I wrote 4th and am 9th on the list, so everytime an advancement list comes out with little to no 1st's then the possibility of me not making 1st on the 01Jul worries me. And yes it does make a difference. I don't want to transfer as a 2nd and then get short toured for making 1st.

I feel for ya man. I understand what your going through. Thats why taking the NOV SWE right before you transfer sucks. For the most part you are unsure on what billets apply for BM2 or BM1, thats why a good safe combination of both is needed. And then they don't make any BM1's for Jan and only 6-8 in Feb, when the May list is far from done. I would think that being #9 you would be okay, I'm #38, I feel pretty confident about our odds.

Well Fenix, no BM1 spots for me. Now the wait for BM2. So prob a transfer and a short tour.

Last November SWE was Feb. 16th. Crossing fingers for this Friday.

Nov 05- March 13th
Nov 04- January 12th(I wish it was like this)..lol

try being number 6 on the Nov 07 list for YN1 and the USCG making 0 YN1s for all of 2007. Def think the descion makers are watching this forum..

I heard from a very very reliable source that the cuts will be out tomorrow (friday the 22nd). So be looking for it.
