Somebody advised me, from Headquarters, that only 20 OS2's were eligible to take the OS1 SWE due to new EPQ's. Has anybody heard this or anything different?

I haven't heard anything like that, but I had a feeling not a lot of OS2's were going to be eligible because of the EOCT requirement now.

I am the only OS2 to have taken the SWE out of everyone at headquarters, or the DC area, if that tells you anything. I did hear from another OS2 that only about 20 to 30 were eligible.

Speaking of which, I am currently in an out of rate, out of service billet in DC. Since they took the learning portal and moved it to the Coast Guard intranet, I no longer have access to it.

Anybody been able to utilize that OS1 study guide I heard about?? When the learning portal was in the regular internet, everytime I tried the link for the study guide, it never worked. Was wondering if it's worth my time to go over to HQ to get on a workstation 3 to look at the info. I have the study guide for the OS1 EOCT, but was wondering if there was different content in the online study guide. Thanks.

Well if there were only 20 people that were eligible you can subtract one. They sent my ESO my exam but I'm above the cut from May.

As what Rooke said with the new OS1 EOCT makes for alot of people not eligible. I have heard that the OS EPQ's are still in revision though hopefully not to many changes. >.>

I also heard that only 20 people were eligible to take the OS1 SWE.

If it means anything, I am the only OS2 out of 8 at my sector that took it. Out of 2 others sectors I know of, only 1 total took it. In my mind, 20 people makes sense.

Although I am in the same boat and was unable to take it. Actually taking the EOCT today.

Wish i had known that, i bombed in. Been 6 years since I was at a sector. I will send you a message in Global in the next couple days for it if thats cool.

What were some of the raw scores from the Nov 11 OS1? 75 here. Seemed like the only part of the EOCT material that made it into the SWE was COMSEC.

What study guide are you referring to? Didn't you get the study material from your ESO?
