Just want to get something straight here, they wont start making advancements off the Nov SWE until July 1, right?

no they have already released the early authorization for advancement from the NOV 07 SWE to fill need to fill billets

Thats what I thought. I keep hearing so many differant things. I guess thats just the way, everybody knows somebody who knows sombody that said so. I'll just wait to the advancement message comes out and go by that. Thanks.

Yes in most ratings they will wait until July 1. The only ratings where the authorized early advancement applies is ones such as EM for EM1 and EM2 and MK for MK2 and possibly MK1. There may be other ratings in the same position, just familiar with those two. Meaning if they have more job openings than people taking the service wide. If you took a servicewide along with 200 other people and they only make 50 per servicewide cycle, then don't get your hopes up.
