Does anyone know what happened to the Qual codes manual 1414.9. I can find the 1414.8 but not he .9.

That manual is gone, CGHRMS had better capabilities of tracking quals, now known as "competencies" and so the book was rendered obsolete. If you're just looking for outdated information though, you can Google COMDTINST 1414.9, and then download the manual in .pdf format from about.com, or post your e-mail and I'll send you the file myself...
